Hi All,
Well for our monthly weather report, it has been almost 5 weeks since I have seen any GRASS in my yard! It is time for all the snow to melt—please!
All of our Marchers returned safely from the DC March. We ask our students to write a brief note on what they thought of the March. I have read them all and they are absolutely inspiring. These kid really get it!!!
Please let me know if you are coming to the Volunteer Luncheon on March 14th. I really need to have a “count” to give to the manager at Grand Tavern,
I have attached the flyer for e the Change on March 21st. Please be sure that everyone who needs to know about this yearly event sees the flyer—youth ministers, DREs, bulletin editors. If it could be reproduced, even in a smaller size, in your church bulletins, that would be great!
Also attached is the flyer for the Silent Auction and Celebrate Life Dinner with Emily Campagno. Again, see if you can post the flyer where it will be seen by as many folks as possible.
We really need Ads—Ads—Ads for the Resource Book. These ads help to defray the cost of printing this valuable resource, and we encourage those who attend the dinner to use the ads as a prolife resource for goods and services.
I am also attaching a procedure that has been used in area churches whereby folks can make a SMALL donation and have their name listed on a page in the Resource Book, under the name of their faith community. For those who have never done anything like this and would like more information please give me a call 248-816-1546 or call Karen at the main office, 734-524-0162.
Most Catholic churches have a Knight of Columbus council. We would love to see as many councils as possible at our dinner. I know that other organizations frequently ask various Councils to host a dinner for their group. We are not asking them to host the dinner, just come and enjoy the evening, auction and dinner. If you do have a council at your faith community and they have questions, please ask them to call me.
Last, but not least, we are making a concerted effort to increase our LIFESPAN membership. Those who support abortion have ready access to the media, the internet and direct mail. Their statements and positions are frequently left unchallenged. LIFESPAN can change that only if we have sufficient members to hear the truth. Membership with LIFESPAN does not require attendance at meetings, or public commitments. We only ask for a willingness to be informed and occasionally participate in some of our activities. I would be more than happy to meet with any group who would like to know more about abortion, euthanasia, IVF, fetal experimentation and all the other issues that appear to see human life as a commodity and not the gift from God that it is.
Love Life! Diane
