Oakland/Macomb 02-2026

Hi All!

I wish there was a magic wand I could wave to make it warmer! Instead, I guess I will just have to wrap up in another blanket. I REALLY want 85 and sunny!

I have been following a lot of comments on Facebook lately and it is simply amazing the lengths some folks will go to try and justify abortion. The fetus isn’t a baby—well it sure isn’t a carrot or a potato. The baby is too small to be alive—tell that to the mom of a micro preemie. It is my body—well how do you explain a male child being your body? Abortion is healthcare—health care doesn’t kill.

The latest effort is to label women as “chest feeders” and “womb bearers.”  That is another effort to minimize women and the awesome gift they have been given to bear a child.

Make no mistake—I see these same comments over and over again. These people are speaking from a pre-arranged script and will say just about anything to justify abortion. Many of them are “influencers “who can make money by having lots of people “click” on their posts. Imagine, getting money for denying protection to the unborn child.

Our 7th annual Be The Change program is scheduled for March 21st. The sessions will be held at two locations. I have attached a flyer—please do all you can to post it where people will see it. It would be fantastic if it could be included in your church bulletin. This is such a great program for high school and college aged students and adults too! I have often referred to myself as a farmer—I plant seeds, pro-life seeds. I hardly ever know if those seeds take root and someone will embrace the prolife cause, but at least they heard what I had to say. Be The Change provides those seeds to the people who attend the session and is so very effective.

March 14th is the date for our Volunteer Luncheon. It will once again be held at the Grand Tavern in Troy (their buffet is great!). We definitely need to know how many are coming, so please, consider this your invitation and let us know.

I am attaching a message from our treasurer, Mike Schefke, regarding our billboard campaign locations. We can’t share the pictures (copyright requirements), but we can share the locations. If you can use the attachments somehow it will raise awareness of our efforts.

Please come to the luncheon!

Love Life!

Diane
