Oakland/Macomb 08-2026

Hi All—I know I usually start off with something about the weather, and I know it has been really hot—but I am going to remember this and think about it again in December!

Time to put on your thinking caps and decide if you will be offering Christmas cards this year.  We have not made a final selection yet, but we are close and will welcome your dates and orders in the VERY near future.  I will send out a separate mailing for that.

Moms.gov is a web site from the federal government that has tons of really good information for pregnant or parenting women and/or families that want to welcome children into their lives.  I really suggest you take a look at it.  It is a positive, educational, informative site that clearly supports moms, families and babies.

It is early still, but we are getting ready for all the events happening in the fall.  I am attaching the flyer for the National Day of Remembrance.

Don’t forget to vote in the August primary.  Many people regard the Primary as not very important but fail to understand that it is the winner of the Primary election that determines who you get to vote for in the General Election.  As a 501 c 3 organization, LIFESPAN cannot endorse or recommend candidates, but we have published candidate survey issue of our newsletter. If you did not receive one, please call the office with any questions—248-816-1546.

Love Life!

Diane
