October 2026- Respect Life Month

Hello Pro-Life Heroes

The annual international Life Chain is Sunday, October 4. The promo is in these notes but the participating locations continue to add on, so check https://milifespan.org for the latest sites and times near you. We have plenty of approved Life Chain signs available at the Chapter Office, including Spanish-language signs. As always, you may borrow the signs for free.

This Respect Life Month please join us for the annual Pro-Life Legislative Breakfast on Saturday, October 17 from 9:00-11:00am. More details and QR to register are located on the event flier in these Church Notes. There are a couple new additions to this year’s event. We will begin to publicly honor all current and recent Church Representatives on an annual basis. Personal invites went out to active Church Reps recently. Please attend and receive a little much-deserved recognition for your efforts to protect life! Use the flier or call Andy at the Chapter Office to register. We will also award a Wayne Chapter Volunteer of the Year Award. The recipient is determined by the Chapter Board of Directors and it will honor a special Church Rep or Volunteer who has gone above and beyond.

This will be the final Church Notes in this format. Microsoft Publisher is no longer supported as of October, so your next edition will be designed in Canva. Our newsletter switched over to Canva in the spring, so if you like the new newsletter format, you will like the updated Church Notes format for November. While the new Live It Up Dinner was a smashing success, the Pickleball Tournament was not. Only 2 people registered, so it was cancelled. We live and learn.

Absentee voting begins as early as September 25 with in-person voting from October 24-November 3 in Michigan. Check out the October LIFESPAN News General Election Candidate Survey or call your candidates directly for their views on life if they did not reply to the survey. Vote Pro-Life!
