YOUTH UPDATE for Parents, Junior High and High School Students, College Students, Young Adults, Youth Group Leaders/Pro-Life Clubs, School Administrations, Church/Parish Administrations, Pastors, Deacons, Priests, and all others who work with young people:
Even though the summer is here, we are very busy with preparation for the upcoming Michigan March for Life Bus Trip (November) and the DC March for Life Bus Trip (January), as well as Be the Change (March). We hope that many students, young adults and families can participate in all or some of these activities!
We thank the following parishes for hosting six of our buses for the Michigan March for Life: St. John Vianney in Shelby Township, St. Joseph in Lake Orion, St. Aidan in Livonia, Holy Family in Novi, St. Justin/St. Mary Magdalen in Hazel Park, and Christ Our Light in Troy! These locations are now registered with the March for Life group in DC. I will work with them on the logistics of getting the buses there and where to drop off all the Marchers so they can participate in the concert/rally/March for Life. There is one church location in Plymouth we are still waiting on to find out if they can host our seventh bus. For those students and young adults who are in 11th-12th grade, up to 25 years old, if you are interested in the Protect Life Michigan Life Advocate Intensive Training (PLM LAI) that will take place in the Detroit area July 24-26 or in Grand Rapids August 7-9, please let me know. I will send you the information you will need to sign up, and if you need help paying for the training, LIFESPAN has sponsorships available. We have sponsored many young people for 10+ years. They have all been very impressed with the pro-life apologetics style training that PLM offers! We are sponsoring three young people so far: one high school student and two young adults.

The latest review by the Lozier Institute shows that there are 275 abortion centers in the country who perform abortions at or after 15 weeks. Michigan has 15 such abortion facilities.
