Hello Pro-life Heroes,
October is Respect Life Month, so let us strengthen each other to be the active pro-life leaders and heroes that we all are! Events highlighted in October Church Notes:
CIDER Walk (Saturday, October 4 @12:30pm, St. Rafka Maronite Church, Livonia)
Life Chain (Afternoon of Sunday, October 5): LIFESPAN promotes this prayerful nationwide event at over 30 locations throughout Metro Detroit. Specific times vary by location. As always, the Chapter has official Life Chain signs to use at your location. Call our office at 734-422-6230 or email wcdr@rtl-lifespan.org to reserve sufficient signs for your location. (We have plenty of signs although give us a call ASAP if you may have a need for Spanish language signs as we may order more.) See https://milifespan.org for the most up-to-date listings.
Autumn Pro-Life T-Shirt Day (Monday, October 6): Give witness to your respect for life by proudly and lovingly wearing your favorite pro-life t-shirt. See https://milifespan.org for more.
Pro-Life Legislative Breakfast (Saturday, October 18 @9:00am, St. Genevieve-St. Maurice Activity Center, Livonia): Learn about human trafficking in our community from Karen Moore and lived experience guest Irene Faziani, both of Sanctum House, along with legislative updates. Register today at https://rtllifespan.regfox.com/2025-pro-life-legislative-breakfast.
Michigan March for Life (Thursday, November 6, State Capitol, Lansing): Reserve your free seat on one of LIFESPAN’s 7 buses headed to this Statewide pro-life rally. Register at https://righttolifelifespan.regfox.com/lifespan-michigan-march-for-life-bus-trip.
Christmas Cards 2025: Christmas Cards have been ordered and are due to arrive in mid-to-late October. The two new 2025 card designs are the “small” size cards. These small cards will be sold with the memorable price of 10 cards for $10 as each pack of cards includes 10 individual cards. We will also offer cards from our 2023 and 2024 inventory, including a limited number of “large” cards. The supplier has guaranteed us there will be no surprises as with the unexpected marbling that appeared to be a “stain” last year. Please be sure to provide feedback!
Christmas 2nd Option: As you are all aware, Christmas Cards grow less popular and increase in price every year. For this reason, we are looking at products to supplement Christmas Cards such as mugs, ornaments, hot chocolate bombs, candies, etc. If your church is interested in serving as a pilot program to help us test out the idea this year or if you have an idea, please let us know!
Yours for LIFE,
Timothy Pruse
