There are a ton of autumn notes, so right to it! Last reminder that CIDER Walk is on Saturday, September 28 from 12-2pm at St. Aidan in Livonia. All registrants receive cider, doughnuts, and a CIDER Walk t-shirt. Flier was in September notes.
The 2024 Life Chain is Sunday, October 6 at over 30 locations throughout Metro Detroit. Please call the Chapter Office at 734-422-6230 to reserve and pick up Life Chain signs for your location anytime between now and Thursday, October 3. Flier is on an insert.
The 2024 Pro-Life Legislative Luncheon takes place on Saturday, October 19 at Laurel Manor in Livonia with doors open at 10:30am and program beginning at 11. Speakers Jason Negri and Rep. James DeSana will inform us how to fight the slide toward legal euthanasia in Michigan. See the flier for information on purchasing tickets. Flier is on the back cover.
The 2024 Bowling for Life is set for Saturday, November 16 from 1-4pm at Woodland Lanes in Livonia. Bowlers will collect pledges per pin, per strike, or per game. Flier is inside the notes.
Lifespan’s Generation Truth youth ministry sponsors three events in October. National Pro-Life Cupcake Day on Wednesday, October 9 reminds us of all the birthdays left uncelebrated due to abortion. Autumn Pro-Life Sidewalk Chalking Day is Tuesday, October 15. Help the young to chalk pro-life words, slogans, and art on a sidewalk near you. Free chalk is available. Registration is open for the Movement in Motion Bus Trip to the National March for Life in Washington D.C. until November 15. The buses leave am on Thursday, January 23 and return pm on Saturday, January 25. New this year is the Adult Bus option. Those 18+ ride a LIFESPAN bus, stay in a hotel, and attend the March on January 24. Flier is on an insert.
We do expect new Christmas Cards to arrive in mid-October. We will send an email blast and include the promotional materials for this year’s Christmas Cards in the November Church Notes. We will also offer our inventory of the popular large and small cards from 2022 and 2023.
