                                                           March 2024

Hello Pro-life Heroes,

Thank you to those who participated in our Chapter Church Representative Meeting on February 10. It was a very fruitful discussion and there is demand for another meeting later in 2024. We will provide a full overview of the meeting findings in the April Church Notes.

March’s big event is LIFESPAN’s 35th Annual Baby Shower on Sunday, March 10. Each church is paired up with a local pregnancy help center. Please see the flier included for more information about donating or adding your church as a sponsoring Baby Shower host.

While the Be the Change event on April 12 at St. Michael Catholic School in Livonia and repeated April 13 in Auburn Hills is geared especially toward students from 7th Grade-College age, adults are certainly welcome and will find it most informative as well! This year, it is a full collaboration between LIFESPAN and Protect Life Michigan. Joseph Tuskifrom Protect Life Michigan will offer a practical workshop for promoting and defending pro-life values. Dynamic, national speaker Ryan Bomberger of the Radiance Foundation will provide the keynote talk.

 New Chapter Personnel

We have hired new staff to return our Wayne Chapter Office team to full strength. Julia Ferracciolo will be joining LIFESPAN as the new Assistant Youth Coordinator responsible for youth activities in the Wayne Chapter and assisting LIFESPAN Youth Director Lynn Gura with all Generation Truth youth events. Julia is a 2021 Wayne State graduate and should also greatly benefit LIFESPAN’s presence on social media. We also welcome Rebecca Bridgnanan as our new Office Manager. Rebecca worked as a paralegal after previous roles with Divine Child, Students for Life of America, and Right to Life of Michigan. Audrey Ralko, the Secretary of LIFESPAN’s Board of Directors, will also be assisting in the office one day a week. Chapter Director Tim Pruse will continue to offer posted Saturday morning hours for at least the next couple of months. We cannot provide you with definitive office hours just yet, but we will be able to return to regular business hours at least three days per week once our new team is trained. Julia has already started, and Rebecca and Audrey should start by March 4 if not sooner.

Save the Date: Tuesday, May 7 for LIFESPAN’s 2024 Celebration of Life Dinner/ Auction!

Ask pro-aborts to Describe what they Defend!

Yours for LIFE,

Timothy Pruse
