It was great to see those of you new and existing Church Representatives who attended our
recent Wayne Chapter Open House on Saturday, April 5. The idea was to make it more
convenient to you than a set Church Representative Meeting at a more limited timeframe. We
may look to hold a Church Representative Meeting on Zoom later in 2025. That said, the Chapter
very much appreciates YOUR feedback and I again invite you to reach out to me personally as
the Director (Tim Pruse) at any time with new ideas or suggestions for improving how we may
serve you or better promote the pro life cause in the local community. My email is

Inside is the promotional flyer for LIFESPAN s Defending Life from Physicican Assisted
Suicide Intensive Training with expert presenter Jason Negri on Saturday, May 17 9:00am
12:00pm at the St. Owen Parish Center in Bloomfield. Jason was our speaker at the 2024
Legislative Luncheon last October and will present to those who wish to become community
leaders on the end of life issues of physician assisted suicide and euthanasia. Those who come to
the training will then be able to speak to their churches, organizations, and the general public as to
why Physician Assisted Suicide is an awful public policy. Many pro-life experts suspect there
will be a ballot proposal in 2026 in Michigan to legalize physician assisted suicide similar to the
ballot proposal (Proposal 3) to promote abortion in the State Constitution in 2022. Please share
this flyer with those in your community such as doctors, nurses, estate planning lawyers,
individuals with disabilities, and any organizations you think would benefit from sending a
representative to attend. There is currently space for only 23 more participants in this important
and timely training.
If you have yet to register for the 2025 Celebration of Life Dinner and Silent Auction on
Tuesday, May 6 to come see the pro-life message of Rachel Campos Duffy, please do so as soon
as possible. Over 550 have already registered and 800 is full capacity.
Mr. Andrew Slonina has been hired as our new Wayne Chapter Office Manager and began training in the office with Tim on Thursday, April 9. Please join me in welcoming Andrew as a member of the LIFESPAN
Wayne Chapter team! Andrew will introduce himself to you in the June Rep Letter.
Mother’s Day approaches and LIFESPAN offers fresh cut carnations or silk roses again in 2025.
