WAYNE COUNTY CHAPTER NEWS
February 2024
Hello Pro-life Heroes,
Thank you again for your participation in January events such as the Rose Mass, Luminaries for Life, National Pro-Life T-Shirt Day and the Youth Bus Trip to the National March for Life.
The most important event of February is our Wayne Chapter Church Representative Meeting on Saturday, February 10. This will take place in the cafeteria of St. Michael Catholic School from 10am-12pm. St. Michael Catholic School is conveniently located at 11441 Hubbard St. in Livonia (just south of Plymouth Rd between Farmington and Merriman). We last held a Church Rep meeting in 2022 and it was very productive although sparsely attended. It is vital that as many Church Representatives, volunteers, and those potentially interested in becoming involved as Church Representatives are in attendance! The agenda will include sharing the priorities of the Chapter Board of Directors in 2024 and collaborative time to listen to and discuss feedback from all of you about what is working well and what needs to improve in our Chapter.
The biggest upcoming event is LIFESPAN’s 35th Annual Baby Shower on Sunday, March 10. Churches throughout Southeast Michigan will collect baby supplies and cash donations which will benefit several local problem pregnancy centers. Contact Chris at the LIFESPAN Main Office at 734-524-0164 to add your community to the list of Baby Shower participants. See the flier inside for more information.
