Oakland/Macomb Aug 2019

Hi Folks,

I know that some of you are very uncomfortable in the heat and humidity, but we will be wishing it was back come February!

We are gearing up to begin registration for the Movement in Motion bus trip to Washington DC for the March for Life in January.  Your youth ministers should be receiving information in the near future.

September 14th will mark the National Day of Remembrance of the Unborn and our annual service at White Chapel Cemetery from 1-2 pm.  White Chapel is in Troy at Long Lake and Coolidge.  The ceremony and laying of roses is always a lovely tribute and memorial to all babies lost to abortion but especially to the five little ones LIFESPAN buried in the late ‘70s.  Call the office for more information.

Raffle tickets!  Along with our 50th Anniversary Dinner, we will be having a raffle, the winner taking home $1000.00.  I have tickets in the office.  The odds of winning our raffle are WAY better than the lottery!

The dismemberment petition drive has begun.  I am again attaching the two articles about why LIFESPAN is supporting the dismemberment ban.  We have petitions in the office.  Give us a call if you would like some to encourage your friends and relatives to stop this gruesome procedure.

I can’t email petitions but I am sending a couple of documents that explain the reason to support the dismemberment ban as well as a flyer that you and download and distribute or call me and I will print some off in color for you.

Our 50th anniversary is coming up in 2020 and we are already making plans for it.  If you would like to offer suggestions or be on the planning committee or just help out, please let us know.  The suggested theme is “More precious than gold..”  We need lots of input.

Love Life!

Diane, Lynn and Maria
