If you or any young people you know are looking for some volunteer jobs to do, please let us know! Between the Troy office and Wayne office locations, we can use some help! At the office, we can use help with organizing, sorting, counting, labeling things to research on the computer to phone calls, or you can take a project home to work on like our ribbons and tags for the Mother’s Day carnations. It takes time to cut the ribbon and tie to tags, so we usually like to get started in the summer to get as many done as possible before the end of the year. This is a fun project for a group of friends to do together! You can email us at the emails below or call our offices. If emailing, put “VOLUNTEER” in the subject line. Thanks a lot!
Would you like to support LIFESPAN’s Generation Youth Outreach in the year ahead? If you have bottles and cans to return at the store, perhaps you would be willing to donate some or all of the money you get from the return to our office. It was a pretty tough 2020 for us and we are working towards doing more with the youth in 2022. Your help with funding future projects and activities would be so appreciated! If you live in Wayne county, the donations would go to the Wayne office and if you live in Oakland or Macomb County, the donations would come to us. Checks would be made payable to RTL-LIFESPAN Ed Fund (for “educational fund”).
If you have not responded yet to the separate 2022 Bus Trip email sent to you on the 12th/13th of May, we would really like to hear from you. That way we will know if there is enough interest so we can start making plans for another trip.
