Wayne 04-2025

Hello Pro-life Heroes,

You are most warmly invited to the upcoming Wayne Chapter Open House on Saturday, April 5 between 9am-2pm. Stop in at your convenience to see our newly updated office and meet our Board members and staff. Find out about the pro-life resources and programs LIFESPAN may be able to provide to your family, church, and local community. Please provide us with your feedback and ask us any questions you may have! Snacks, beverages, and educational and promotional materials will be provided. See you at Open House!

If you have yet to register for the 2025 Celebration of Life Dinner and Silent Auction on Tuesday, May 6 please do so as soon as possible. The maximum capacity is 800 and our exciting speaker is Rachel Campos-Duffy, a nationally prominent television personality, pro-life activist, wife of U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy, and mother of nine children including one with Down Syndrome. By now, we have likely followed-up by phone with many of you regarding the potential to place a Church Ad in the 2025 LIFESPAN Resource Book that will be distributed at the dinner. We have likely also followed-up with potential large donors who have previously donated a large sum to LIFESPAN about the opportunity to sponsor the dinner. Thank you to all who have responded with generosity and all who will do so!

We will soon send out ordering information to those who desire to participate in the annual Mother’s Day Flower fundraiser this year. We will again offer freshly cut carnations and silk roses as options. Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 11. We do have sad news from the Chapter. Office Manager Rebecca Bridgnanan is resigning effective March 31 to spend more time with her family under changing family circumstances. Please join me in offering her our prayers and best wishes for the future.

Finally, we have a 3-hour intensive training session on opposing Physician-Assisted Suicide with Jason Negri coming up on Saturday, May 17 9am-12pm. The training is limited to < 30 guests. The intended audience is individuals willing to become expert speakers in the community about end-of-life issues as well as medical professionals and estate planning attorneys likely to bump up against the societal drift toward physician-assisted suicide and euthanasia in their professions. Churches and organizations may consider sponsoring one interested party to attend on their behalf. If interested, please contact Tim directly at tpruse@milifespan.org or 248-376-7071.

“Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” -John 20:21 Happy Easter!

Yours for LIFE,

Timothy Pruse
