OCTOBER RESPECT LIFE MONTH EVENTS:
Life Chain is at a convenient location near you on Sunday, October 2 from 2-3mmmmmm. Be sure to call the Wayne Chapter office at 734-422-6230 and stop in to pick up Life Chain signs for your local group.
National Pro-Life T-Shirt Day is Tuesday, October 4. You are encouraged to wear a Pro-Life t-shirt at school, at work, while running errands, or even at home.
LIFESPAN’s Annual Dinner Fundraiser & Silent Auction takes place on Tuesday, October 11 at the San Marino Club in Troy. The auction opens at 5:30 pm with Dinner served at 7:15. The Emcee is noted radio psychologist Dr. Ray Guarendi and the Keynote Speaker is Steven Ertelt, the founder and editor of LifeNews.com. Mr. Ertelt will discuss promoting the pro-life cause in the media, very important as our local nightly news stations propagandize Proposal 3 instead of telling the truth. Attendance is FREE.
CIDER Walk 2022 takes place on Saturday, October 22 from 1-3 mm in Livonia. It begins and ends at St. Rafka Maronite Catholic Church and the approximately 2-mile walk will pass the Livonia Planned Parenthood and portions of the Livonia Civic Center near 5 Mile & Farmington Rd. Cider and doughnuts will be served and all walkers receive a CIDER Walk t-shirt with a minimum $20 pledge or donation. Pledge forms may be found on our website http://milifespan.org/.
Autumn Pro-Life Sidewalk Chalking Day is Tuesday, October 25. Go outside and joyfully draw pro-life facts and messages. Chalk is available at our office if needed.
VOTE NO ON PROPOSAL 3:
The unborn in Michigan are more in need of your TIME, TALENTS, and TREASURE this October than any other time in 50 years!
Details are not finalized as of now, but the LIFESPAN Main Office on the 1st floor or our Chapter Office on the 2nd floor will likely be a campaign supply center for the Coalition to Support Michigan Women and Children efforts. We will be open during extended hours and will need volunteers to staff the office and hand out campaign materials. Please call 734-422-6230 or e-mail wcdr@rtl-lifespan.org to volunteer.
There will also likely be many other pop-up Coalition events between now and Election Day. Check your e-mail regularly for updates. If you do not have e-mail, call our office to find out if events are upcoming in your locale.
