LIFESPAN OAKLAND/MACOMB REPRESENTATIVE MEMO: OCTOBER 2018
Hi Folks,
I hear someone say that there are only 100 more days until Christmas—are you ready???
After a lot of confusion about Christmas delivery of our Christmas cards to our office, we should be receiving our shipment the last week of September. Please get your orders to me so I can schedule pickups. I have attached the order form again in case you need it. I have a few orders already but not many. If you would like to offer Christmas cards to your faith community and have never done it before, give me a call on M,W,F at the office and I can tell you how it is done. Remember, there is no money required before hand!
Attached you will see the flyer for the upcoming luncheon (October 13th.). I know it is some distance from Oakland and Macomb county but the speakers the Wayne County chapter selects are always outstanding and worth the trip. The food is pretty good too!!! Please try to attend.
We are in full swing for reservations for the 2019 Movement in Motion bus trip to Washington DC. I have attached a flyer for that too. Please be sure that your youth ministers get a copy.
You will also see a copy of the Wee Care Christmas appeal. Karen Patrosso, our Wee Care director asks that we send it to you in the hopes that Wee Care can be included on any “giving trees” your faith community sponsors at Christmas time.
We asked and were answered!! We have a new coordinator for the White Cross display, Cathy Abbott from St. Williams has graciously agreed to assume this role and we are very grateful. If your faith community wants to have the White Cross display in 2019, let me know and we will put you in touch with Cathy.
