LIFESPAN OAKLAND/MACOMB REPRESENTATIVE MEMO: NOVEMBER 2018

Hi Folks!

Ok, I surrender—summer is gone, Fall is leafing (that is a joke, folks) and winter will soon be here.  All of us summer lovers will now hibernate under coats, scarves and mittens until June!

Registration for the bus trip to Washington DC is officially over and it looks like we will have a great number of young people traveling this year.  It is always such a huge undertaking, but the young people come home amazed at the number of people who believe as they do—that life has value and is to be protected—and energized  to share this message.  A special thank you to all of you who have supported them in this activity.

Christmas cards are the big item this month.  If you have not sent in your order please do it right away.  We would not want anyone to be left out.  The cards are particularly pretty this year and beautifully express “the reason for the season” They sure beat the designs of Rudolf Santa and generic Christmas trees.

If your respect life committee is thinking of displaying the White Crosses this coming year, it is not too early to arrange for your date.  We have a new cross display coordinator, Cathy Abbott, and I will put you in touch with her to arrange your date.

Look for news of this year’s volunteer luncheon in coming memos.  We don’t have a date yet but sometime in early spring.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Love Life!

Diane, Lynn and Maria
