This summer, there has been an important petition drive going on to ban dismemberment abortions in our state (these abortions take place on pre-born children in the 4th-6th month stage of fetal development in the womb). The drive began on June 26th by Michigan Protects Life. Some of you may have heard about it through our LIFESPAN Newsletter that would have been sent in the mail to your home, school, parish or church. If you haven’t heard about it, then see the attached information and contact us if you would like to sign the petition if you are over 18. Signing this bill is important for the pro-life movement here in Michigan. Only registered voters can sign the petition. March for Life registrations forms have been completed for LIFESPAN’s 2020 Movement in Motion Youth Bus Trip to DC in January. Seven buses have been charted for the trip! The trip will begin the evening of January 23rd and end the morning of January 26th. Friday, January 24th is the official date of the 47th March for Life. Our trip was carefully planned over the summer and will include a tour of the US Capital as well as our Annual Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday. We are thrilled to offer a great opportunity for the youth and chaperones to participate in the largest annual March in America in our nation’s capital! You will be a part of the most important civil rights movement of our time – to protect pre-born children in the womb!
