Hello Pro-life Heroes,
If you plan to participate in our Mother’s Day Carnations and have not placed an order yet, please call Chapter Office Manager Pam Jankowski at 734-422-6230 ASAP to do so. Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 14. Orders were due on April 18, please reply this week if you haven’t yet. The live carnations will be delivered fresh to our office on the morning of Saturday, May 13, and available for pick-up from 9 am-12 pm. If necessary, call for special arrangements for flower pick-up.
Father’s Day is Sunday, June 18 and we will be offering the traditional Chocolate Bars. The Father’s Day order form is included in these Church Notes. Please place orders no later than Thursday, June 1. Orders may be picked up at the Chapter Office the week before Father’s Day on June 13, 15, or 16 and possibly earlier, depending on our vendor. Again, call Pam to order or with any questions. If your church is unable to participate, please consider holding a baby bottle donation campaign in 2023. Donations to LIFESPAN through a baby bottle campaign are divided between our Chapter and WeeCare.
We look forward to seeing you and your family, friends, ministers, and fellow churchgoers at the 2023 Silent Auction and Dinner on Tuesday, May 9 at the San Marino Club in Troy. The night’s theme is “Lost Fatherhood…A Pro-Life Journey with Jason Jones.” The Silent Auction opens at 5:30 pm with Dinner at 7:15 pm. We thank you ahead of time for your generous auction bids and donations to help LIFESPAN defend all human life from conception until natural death.
A special thanks to all who attend or invite young people to attend LIFESPAN’s Be The Change pro-life training session which takes place on Saturday, April 29 from 10 am-2 pm at Auburn Hills Christian Church. To attend, register ASAP at https://myahcc.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/1688905. Trevor Pollo of Protect Life Michigan and Bryan Kemper of Priests for Life will speak and pizza will be served to all attendees. We, unfortunately, had to cut the Friday session in Wayne County due to a conflict with facilities the same evening.
Last, but not least, plan to join LIFESPAN for the 3rd Annual Motor City Caravan for Life on Saturday, June 24! In 2023, this driving Caravan moves from January around the National March for Life to June 24 to celebrate the anniversary of the Dobbs decision overturning the Federal abortion mandate. We would love to see robust Wayne-West participation in 2023! For more details on the 2023 Motor City Caravan for Life, please see the flier inside.
