Wayne Oct 2020

Hello, Pro-life Heroes

I will start by introducing myself as Tim Pruse, the new Director of the Wayne County Chapter. Most of my professional background comes from teaching Social Studies and coaching in both public and Catholic schools. I have also earned a living as an Insurance Agent and a 2020 Census Field Supervisor. My wife Keri and I have two wonderful daughters, Hannah who is 2 years old and Noelle who is 8 months old. I have always been pro-life, but really became involved in the movement through Veritas, a grassroots local pro-life young adult group geared toward educational presentations to youth and young adults, and praying with 40 Days for Life at the former WomanCare abortion clinic in Southfield. In these trying times, I am extremely excited to join LIFESPAN and spread our Pro-Life message far and wide in Wayne County!

Because of COVID-19, we have had to cancel all of our fundraising efforts so far in 2020 as well as educational events. There are still great events to look forward to including the 33rd Annual Life Chain and CIDER Walk for Life in October, our Christmas Card fundraising sale in November, and January’s 2021 Movement in Motion youth trip to the March for Life and our 2nd Annual Dinner Dance. Please see inside for more details on these awesome events.

Finally, we emerge on the eve of the 2020 Election on November 3. Please remember to vote pro-life and encourage all you meet to do the same. Remember that all politics is local and pay attention just as much to electing pro-life State and local leaders in addition to the big–ticket Presidential and U.S. Senate elections. Also, continue to pray and lift your voices for the nomination and swift confirmation of what has the potential to be a decisive Pro-Life voice on the U.S. Supreme Court. As J.R.R. Tolkien wrote in The Fellowship of the Ring, “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.” Let’s use that time to be heroes for life!

Yours in LIFE,
Timothy Pruse
Wayne County Chapter Director
