Hi Folks!
Well, what can I say? I hope you are all well, not suffering from cabin fever, finding worthwhile things to do while we all stay home. I have cleaned out drawers and found all sorts of things, but only 72 cents! I have read three books and started a fourth. I am cross stitching and tonight I will break out a jigsaw puzzle. The dog (a Shetland Sheepdog named Skittles) keeps looking at me and seems to be wondering why am always home!
I have not hurried to get this mailing out to you because I suspect that there are no church papers being published. Perhaps they are going on line so I have done this one, just in case.
By now you probably all know that our 50th Anniversary Dinner has been postponed to October 13th. Same time, same place, same speakers (Diamond and Silk), same everything except the date. If you have purchased a raffle ticket or want to purchase it, we have been given permission to advance the drawing to Oct 13th. Your current ticket is good, even if the date shows something other than Oct. 13.
Mother’s Day Carnations have been cancelled for now. We are considering combining the flowers with the Father’s Day Candy around Father’s Day. I would really like you feedback on this idea.
