Speaking of Church Reps, we will be calling for a Wayne Church Representative meeting in February 2024. We last held a Church Rep meeting in 2022 and it was an excellent and fruitful conversation, although only a fraction of Church Reps attended. We will gather and discuss opportunities and issues you, our Representatives, are seeing in your churches and communities. It is essential for as many Church Reps as possible to meet and discuss where we are currently and where we can best make an impact in the future. We will have concrete details for you in the January Church Notes.
Our 2024 Membership Renewal letters were sent out recently. Please reply on a timely basis. For you loyal supporters, the highlight is the inclusion of a LIFESPAN Holiday Gift Membership in the mailing. Gift memberships run for $8. We very highly encourage you to fill out the coupon for a family member or friend who may enjoy the connection to LIFESPAN! Especially if you are a senior, please consider filling one out for one of your children or grandchildren to help keep the pro-life flame alive for future generations!
If you joined us on October 28 for the 2023 Pro-Life Legislative Luncheon, you enjoyed an extremely informative and motivational set of talks! State Rep. James DeSana of the 29th House District reported very timely information about the set of five “Reproductive Health Act” bills pending in Lansing at the time. While LIFESPAN does not offer endorsements, Rep. DeSana’s courage in standing for pro-life principles in Lansing is much appreciated. Our Keynote Speaker, national pro-life leader, Frank Pavone was full of information and motivation that even in our post-Proposal 3 Michigan, we can still succeed in many ways in the fight for life for the preborn. He was so gracious in taking pictures and speaking with guests long after the event officially ended that we are happy to announce that Frank Pavone will return as our annual Celebrate Life Dinner Speaker in May 2024!
