Continuing the effort to make the destruction of unborn human life by abortion an acceptable occurrence, the USSC has once again placed the lives of women in jeopardy by denying them the assurance that the practitioner has hospital admitting privileges in a nearby hospital.
Emergency situations can and do occur during an abortion procedure. The need for emergent care at a full-service critical care hospital does become necessary. Without admitting privileges for the abortion practitioner in place, precious time for treatment is lost. Rather than being an “undue burden” for the woman such privileges can and will become the difference between life and death
