Happy New Year, Everyone!
I hope that this letter finds you well and that you all had an amazing Christmas! It was so nice to see some of you at our volunteer luncheon. I did receive some feedback on the length of the church note articles saying they were too long to include in some bulletins. I appreciate the feedback and I have done my best to decrease the length. It is definitely difficult as I am so passionate about pro-life issues and want to share as much information with everyone as I can. However, I completely understand the logistics of church bulletins and will do my best to give you notes that will fit!
Please be sure to speak to your pastor and the editor of your church bulletin and ask them to include our January church notes and, if possible, the LIFESPAN flier for Hockey Night Out.
Enclosed you will find the January Church Notes and the flier for the Hockey Night Out. Please post this flier wherever possible and bring it to the attention of your pastor, youth group coordinators and pro-life groups. Need additional copies? Please contact our office and we will happily make them for you! It is because of you and your commitment to LIFE, that people find out about the many activities that LIFESPAN sponsors. UPCOMING EVENTS, we hope that you can participate in some, if not all:
- Luminaries for Life—Candles and luminary bags will be available for anyone who would like to have them at their church for donation. These are meant to be placed outside on porches or driveways to light up in remembrance for all who have been lost due to the Roe v. Wade decision on the evening of January 22nd. This is a great way to raise awareness about abortion. Let’s “light up” the metro Detroit area! If you are interested, please contact our office and let us know!
- Entertainment Books—Last call to get your 2015 Entertainment Books and Premier Dining; sales will be ending shortly. Get a gift that will be appreciated throughout the year and bring savings to the receiver!
- March 7th – Hockey Night Out! Make plans to join us at the Compuware Arena to watch the Plymouth Whalers! If you haven’t attended before, it is a really fun night, there is not a bad seat in the house and we get to sit together in the same section. Come out for fun, see some old friends and make some new ones while cheering on our local team! Check out the flier for more details.
- March 8th – Get ready for the largest baby shower in Michigan! Every year, LIFESPAN coordinates with area churches and groups to gather much needed baby supplies for about 20 pregnancy help centers. These pregnancy help centers are truly on the “front lines” and make such a difference, please help support them! Contact our office for more details.
