LIFESPAN OAKLAND/MACOMB REPRESENTATIVE MEMO: APRIL 2017

Hi Folks,

I was sitting on my sofa one day last week, looking out at the snow falling, and the weather man was saying that Spring was due to arrive.  I think it got detoured.

We are spending most of April getting ready for May and our Celebrate Life Dinner and Auction.  You will be receiving your invitations soon and there is a flyer attached to this message that we hope you can copy, post, and/or circulate.

This is going to be a rather special dinner. We will be recognizing some of the people who laid the foundation for LIFESPAN and the pro-life movement here in our area and our speaker, Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, will lay out plans for our college and high school students who will carry the struggle forward.  Please encourage any young people in your youth ministries or family members to come.  Special rates are available.

Also attached is the form for the Mother’s Day Carnations in case you have misplaced the one I sent last month.  Please return it as soon as possible so I can let the florist know how many we will need.

If you have any items that you think would be good for the auction, please call Chris or Karen at the main office: 734-524-0162

We are considering a baseball outing for LIFESPAN families at Jimmy John’s baseball field in Utica one day this summer.  If any of you have been there you know how family friendly it is and how much fun you can have.  Please let us know what you think of the idea.

If you can help set up for the dinner in the early afternoon of May 16th, please give us a call.

Diane will be out of the office the first week of April, but Lynn will be here holding down the fort.  Also, we would like to welcome Maria Vitale who will be helping out at the office one day a week.

Love Life!

Diane and Lynn
